So, what alternatives do I have for Linux? I would value that it works similarly to TV so I do not have to learn too much. Hey Leute, ich habe in den letzten Jahren bemerkt, dass Teamviewer auf Linux-Distributionen wirklich zickig (geworden) ist. It can take from minutes to hours to log in to their servers and is unusable in the meanwhile. I have a thread in their forums asking about why TV does not work well with Linux. I don't know what on earth they are thinking. So now they at TeamViewer absolutely want me to pay. What are they smoking? I use it only to update and maintain my in-laws' Linux computer. Yeah, sure, a TV install that is used once or twice a month to connect to a single other computer for relatively short periods of time sure shows sign of being used commercially. But it has gotten worse and worse and to make matters worse TeamViewer keep nagging me to pay saying "commercial use has been detected". When I started using Linux I stuck with TeamViewer even though it always gave me problems and did not work as well as it did with Windows. Once I learn and know a software I try to stick with it which is the reason I am still using lots of old and obsolete programs. I have been using TeamViewer with Windows for quite a few years now and really liked it.
