The brand Banza has a variety of boxed flavors made with chickpea pasta and Annie’s has a handful of gluten-free macaroni and cheese flavors, including pasta made with quinoa and rice flour or red lentils. While this is the first time Kraft has made a gluten-free version of their macaroni and cheese, there are a few other brands you can find in stores nationwide as well. You can find it in select stores nationwide, including Target, for around $2.49 a box. Each serving has 260 calories and six grams of protein. Just like the original, it comes in a 6-ounce box with a packet of powdered cheese sauce. Kraft’s new Gluten Free Mac & Cheese is made with brown rice and corn pasta, but the company says it is just as smooth and cheesy as the original. A classic childhood (and adulthood!) favorite is now available in a gluten-free version for the first time ever: Kraft Macaroni & Cheese! If you’re gluten-free and have been missing some of your favorite comfort foods since you eliminated them from your diet, we have some good news.
