Adding new contacts is easy, as is dialing someone directly if using Web-to-voice calling. The portraits are often fuzzy, but that's because of the desktop resolutions, not your iPad. Your contact list will populate on the right of the screen and you can connect with someone by tapping their portrait. After doing so you can import contacts from any of your existing accounts - including Outlook, Mail, or Apple's iContacts. When you open Skype for iPad, you must either sign in or create a new account. Where other desktop apps stumble in their transition to the touch screen, Skype thrives and it shows in nearly every facet of its iPad release. Newly invited contacts will show up as Pending until they accept the invitation, then you will see them as a regular contact.Skype for iPad is a finely implemented mobile version of the incredibly popular global communication tool, complete with voice and video chat, contact management, and more.Touch the appropriate Contacts group from the Lists screen to see all the newly added contacts.
Adjust the invitation message appropriately.Check the picture to make sure you have the right individual.Once you see the person you want to add, touch his/her name.Next, touch the Search Skype Directory and type someone’s name, email address or Skype Name.Touch one of the Contacts lists displayed, then touch the the “+” icon at the top.Touch the Lists key along the left hand margin.
If you are not already in Skype, Touch the Skype icon from your Home screen and log in, if asked.
To do so, you will have to find them and add then to your Skype contacts list: Once you have logged into the Skype app, you will want to start communicating with people.
